Description
Mount Fuji cherry has an attractive, gently weeping shaped crown, which can develop some almost horizontal branches as the tree matures. The foliage of appears first as a green fringe throughout the tree, which is then followed by a combination of large single and semi-double pure white flowers which are profuse and delicate.
Like all Japanese Cherry trees, Prunus serrulata Shirotae prefers to be grown in a free draining soil.

This attractive ornamental flowering cherry tree looks stunning when planted as a focal point or in a spot where the flowers can be viewed against a bright blue spring sky.
