Description
Camellia japonica is a Japanese camellia. They are beautiful evergreens, with deep green glossy leaves and ornamental bright flowers, produced in reds, pinks or white in early spring, and they range from solids to stripes and from single cups of petals to tight double blooms.
Grow in moist but well drained soil; they need extra water during dry summers. They can be hard pruned after flowering.
