The Red Robin’s stand out feature is the contrast of its white spring blossom next to its vibrant red leaves. It was originally bred in New Zealand and grows into a loose, rounded habit. New leaves are red, changing to a deep, glossy green as they mature; they are alternate, finely serrated and around 10 cm in length. In June, small, rounded, red berries are produced. The RHS has given this tree an Award of Merit.
We sell the Photinia Fraseri as a feathered bush, pleached frame form and as a standard tree.
