 Vermeer TS505 tracked stump grinder

By our standards, a small pedestrian Stump Grinder . This machine however outperforms most wheeled machines (we started operating wheeled machines in 1984!) and it offers a low impact stump grinding solution in limited access situations and on slopes.

  • DYMAX FORESTRY 10" TREE SHEARS - Ideal small felling shear on an 8t excavator for small trees and hedgerows.
  • DYMAX FORESTRY 14" TREE SHEARS - This is the most economical way to fell and present whole trees up to 14" diameter for chipping with the Timberjack/ Erjo Chipper. US built high output attachment. Units with rotator allow pollarding to be undertaken more easily.
  • DYMAX FORESTRY 16" TREE SHEARS - On a 21t excavator this is a very impressive, quick and safe way to fell trees in a controlled manner. This hire unit also has a rotator allowing it to section fell and pollard trees.

Wood Splitter

We have added a Wood Cracker Log Splitter to our excavator attachemnts avaliable for hire. Mounted on a 20t axcavator, this will efficiently split log up to 40" diameter read for chipping.

MULCHER COLLECTOR

This new machine allows us to 'mulch and collect' small tree growth in one pass . Ideal for :

  • clearing sensitive dense areas of Dormouse habitat
  • 'cut and collect mowing' of any small woody material such as Rhododendron, Heather and Gorse
