Client: Private Garden
Location: Thurloe Square, Central London
Here is the sequence of Crane lifting Hornbeam (Carpinus
betulus) Trees into position in a London rear garden with no
access.
The crane is in position, the trees arrive on site and the
rootballs are fitted into a frame and lifting equipment is
attached. The tree is lifted upright on the bed of the truck the
lift begins and the tree is on it's way
As soon as the tree has reached a height high enough to clear
the roof, the crane starts to turn then the tree is carefully
manoeuvred over the rooftops and positioned directly over the rear
garden. The tree is then lowered...
...and finer adjustments are made to direct the tree into
it's pre-prepared planting pit. The lifting frames are removed, and
the tree is planted along with the three others and a screen is
created for a very happy customer.
