Practicality Brown
Ltd undertakes both small and large landscaping projects throughout
the UK and selective overseas projects, too.
One recent project, a horse training stud near Newmarket,
required an effective green screen with density which would allow
for the timber fence to be removed within 12 months.
Using 380 linear metres of our Elveden Instant Laurel Hedge, we
effectively screened the area and the client was so impressed with
the installation and the density of our hedges, that the fence was
immediately removed.
Using our own trained personnel, we completed this 380 linear metre
hedge planting (the hedge being 1.8/2.0 metres high), in 4 days. We
use bespoke handling equipment to carefully off-load and plant
these unique hedge sections.
The hedges are planted in 100 metre long rows, from which the
customer is able to select and tag the most appropriate hedge for
their needs. Once tagged, these hedges are then grown on, if
required, to meet the exact requirements of each project, in terms
of height and thickness.
We carefully lift the hedges and transplant in the exact order
of growth at the nursery, ensuring that the hedge is fully knitted
to provide the most effective screen.
