Practicality Brown Ltd offers an operated  stump grinding service for both commercial and domestic customers in the south east.

We operate a high powered Vermeer TS505  tracked stump grinder. This is a ‘top of the range’ model which outperforms most wheeled machines (we started operating  wheeled machines in 1984!)
Some of the advantages are:

  • Less ground pressure and hence less rutting (4.4 psi)
  • Much greater stability on sloping  ground
  • In transport mode it fits through a 91cm opening
  • Powerful 50hp engine but in a compact design machine
  • Fast thorough grinding
  • Able to grind down to 40cm below ground level
