Practicality Brown Ltd started trading as a Landscape Contracting business in 1981. In 1985 a sister company was formed to undertake a long term Forestry Commission contract which started a gradual diversification into specialist activities. By 1989 all general landscape contracting activities had scaled down and the company had focused on semi mature trees and the supply of forest products to the landscape trade. The forestry contract was completed in 1994 and the forestry dept started marketing its ability to clear trees without burning.
Innovation has been a key factor in Practicality Brown's success with the pioneering spirit needed to expand in a rapidly changing market place.

TODAY - Practicality Brown is a leading supplier of Forest Products in the south of England, its nursery is a specialist supplier of larger than normal semi mature trees and the tree clearance dept operates the largest fleet of no burn tree clearance equipment in the UK.
